You retain ownership
You retain ownership of your movies and may distribute them elsewhere. You must own or hold the necessary rights for the movie, music, artwork, trailer, and performances, including permissions covering the approved territories and viewing options. Keep supporting permissions available. Uploading does not guarantee approval, distribution, income, or a minimum audience.
Nonexclusive distribution permission
By accepting these terms and submitting content for distribution, you authorize Capri Shortz, Inc. on a nonexclusive basis to host, store, encode, stream, display, and promote the submitted movie, trailer, artwork, and description through Capri Shortz and its service providers for the approved distribution. This permission does not transfer copyright ownership. Distribution must remain within the rights you supply; request any territory or duration restrictions in writing before publication. Technical formatting does not authorize changes to the story or use of your movie to train AI models.
Commission and fees
Capri sets the company commission percentage in admin. Your dashboard shows the commission and your remaining share, which you must accept before participation. Recorded movie orders retain the share accepted for that order. Changes require acceptance of updated account terms for future eligible activity. For a movie sale, creator earnings are the eligible sale amount multiplied by the accepted creator percentage, less processing fees and subsequent refund or dispute adjustments. All processing and payout fees are borne by the creator and deducted from earnings; each fee must be recorded and must not be charged twice. Taxes collected from customers are not creator earnings.
Membership allocation
Eligible membership receipts are allocated to the membership pool set by Capri and divided using qualified viewing activity for the reporting month. Your accepted share and allocated processing fees determine your earnings. There is no fixed per-view payment. The earnings statement records allocations and adjustments; uploading or a trailer view alone does not generate earnings.
Monthly payments
Capri Shortz, Inc. pays eligible positive creator balances monthly after reconciliation, the applicable hold period shown in your dashboard, and any required payment-account verification. Monthly payments are administered by the company; connecting an account does not schedule an automatic payment. Unreleased balances carry forward. Failed payments, refunds, disputes, verification issues, and negative balances can delay or reduce payment. The company provides recorded earnings and payout status through the creator dashboard. Creators are responsible for their own income taxes and any information required for payment and reporting.
Removal and account closure
Request removal or termination through Contact Us — Creator support. We coordinate removal of listings and new sales, existing paid access, outstanding earnings, and required records before closing distribution. Report rights issues immediately so affected distribution can be restricted. Account deletion does not erase valid earnings obligations or necessary financial records. Separately agreed written film-specific terms govern any additional restrictions; no exclusive rights arise from uploading alone.
